Doris C. Dallas
Doris was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and attended Fayetteville City schools and Fayetteville State University. She held accounting positions with Methodist College and Fayetteville Technical Community College. After many years in the education field, Doris was hired by the Cumberland County Government in the Department of Finance where she retired after a long and successful career. Doris became active in the American Ex-Prisoners of War Organization with her husband PNC Paul Dallas in the early ‘80’s. She became Adjutant/Treasurer for the Greater Fayetteville Chapter #1 while Paul served as Chapter Commander. Doris, served as Adjutant/Treasurer for the Department of North Carolina American Ex-Prisoners of War Organization for many years, going into this job while her husband, Paul served as State Commander. Doris now holds the office of Treasurer for the Military Ex-Prisoners of War Foundation since the death of former Treasurer Sonny Mottern.
