Warren G. King Sr.

Warren G. King Sr.
Past National Commander Warren G. King, Sr. has served in the offices of the American Ex-Prisoners of War organization from Chapter Commander up to and including National Commander. For many years Warren worked on many projects and issues for the benefit of former prisoners of war and their families. He was successful in convincing the Tennessee Legislature to pass a State law to rename U.S. Highway 70 across Tennessee from the North Carolina State Line to the Mississippi River the "The American Ex-Prisoners Of War Memorial Highway" and was instrumental in getting it renamed across North Carolina from the Coast to the Tennessee State Line. PNC King has worked many years as a volunteer in the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center at Murphysboro, TN. He is a life member of the following veterans organizations: American Ex-Prisoners of War, The Military Order Of the Purple Heart, the American Legion, VFW, DAV, Air Force Sgt. Association and the 4th Infantry Division.

The Foundation is fortunate to have Commander King on its Board of Directors.
